On-Call/On-Site/Outsourced HR Solutions Support from Generalist to Chief HR Officer


Often our clients desire to leverage the expertise of HR Choice to support their tactical and strategic HR-related needs. The following profile highlights many of the functions that could fall under this relationship and would be used to customize our service response based upon the individual needs of the client.



Provide HR Tactical Support and Strategic services, acting in the role of the HR Department

*Number of hours per month to be determined on an individual case basis


Dedicated On-Site and On-Call HR Support



All tactical HR responsibilities including, but not limited to:


  • Hiring and Staffing support

  • New Hire Orientation and Onboarding

  • Benefits Administration and open enrollment working closely with current Broker

  • Unemployment and Workers Comp claims management

  • Performance Management and Evaluation process deployment and support

  • Employee file and HR documentation management

  • Employee relations support

  • Termination coordination

  • Streamline current HR related processes and practices

  • Employee Handbook updates and maintenance

  • Liaison with Insurance and other HR related partners including Payroll Provider


Strategic Guidance and Support

  • Guidance and recommendations related to Human Resource strategy, policy, and programs

  • Input for organizational planning, aligned with strategic and annual plans to evaluate structure, job design, and human capital forecasting

  • Oversee and implement best practice approaches related to wage and salary structure and policies, performance review programs, and total rewards programs

  • Review and evaluate Benefits plans and programs working in conjunction with Leadership

  • Ensure focus and attention on workplace culture and the translation to HR policies

  • Assist and advise on difficult or sensitive employee relations issues

  • Support to management on disciplinary actions and terminations

  • Conduct workplace investigations and align with outside Legal Counsel

  • Create Training and Development Plan for Managers/Leaders and Employees

  • Implementation and analysis of Employee Engagement & Pulse Surveys


Other services not included in this scope that could be provided based on needs of the organization include development and delivery of Leadership/Management Training and Development Programs, Harassment Training, and other training and development requests. Scope, fees, and timing for these services would be determined based on client need.


These services are typically billed on a monthly retainer basis with the option to true-up.
