Based in Denver, CO, Dannette Nelson (Dani) is a seasoned HR Business Partner and Employee Relations expert with over 15 years of experience supporting leaders at all levels. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Dani’s career has spanned both corporate and non-profit environments, including high-growth tech companies like LinkedIn and Gusto. She brings a strategic and people-centered approach to talent management, leadership development, and inclusive culture-building.

Dani holds a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Master’s in Human Resources, equipping her with a unique perspective on organizational strategy and employee relations. Her experience includes creating and updating employee handbooks, guiding succession planning, and supporting performance management processes. Dani has a proven track record of implementing people inclusion initiatives at small startups, law firms, and nonprofits, helping organizations build resilient, engaged, and values-driven cultures.

In addition to her corporate experience, Dani founded Stone Soup People Solutions, a consulting practice that partners with mission-driven teams to strengthen people strategy and leadership capacity. Her passion for fostering inclusion and belonging is also reflected in her community work—Dani and her wife have housed and mentored at-risk foster youth, and she remains involved in supporting local nonprofits.
